How to test icons?
I am trying very hard to create a personal icon library for my icon rules. I have a LOT of rules since I am meticulous about my cataloging.
I have had to design some icons, but I never know how they look in my libary until I actually add them to a specific rule, then it becomes a part of the icon libary. I don't want to have to go through all these steps to just see how an icon looks in Calibe Any suggestions on how to set it up so I can just test icons and see how they look without having to upset my current rules? |

Perhaps you can add a rule that always puts a non-existent icon such as test_icon.ico onto (for instance) title. Then, when you want to test an icon, save it as test_icon. You will then see it on title. You might need to restart calibre to see it; or perhaps doing an "edit metadata" on a book, changing nothing, then pressing OK will work.
