Koreader cannot use the calibre plugin to connect to Calibre container on Unraid
So, bear with me guys, I am running a docker calibre container on Unraid server. I can access the webui on http://UNRAIDIP:PORT without any issues and I have created a cloudflare zero trust tunnel for calibreweb (another container pointing to calibre) so I can access it from anywhere to https://calibre-web.mydomain.com/opds (koreader connects fine that way)
However, I want to be able to use the wireless connection method (so that i can use the koreader sync plugin to sync reading progress to custom columns on calibre in real time). Koreader cannot connect, says there is no calibre server on the local network and it actually makes sense because calibre advertises the internal container IP address when i start wireless device connection process from the connect/share menu. Any ideas how I can make koreader (so my local network) connect wirelessly to calibre using the non opds method? Or, if indeed, as I am suspecting, this is not possible, how could I effectively use the koreader sync plugin with calibre on a setup like this? Last edited by antonispgs; 03-29-2025 at 05:16 AM. |
