Library corrputed when changing author
Hello all,
I see several times "library corrupted" error, especially, when I change the name of the author. Like this: I add a book, it appears as Author: "Williams, Tad" and I change it to "Tad Williams", then the DB goes south. I can not bind it to any version, it happened since many times with me, with many different version. I use the version 8 now, and it just happened. Nothing lost, I can rebuild it, but it is a pain in the back... Any idea what am I doring wrong? Thanks! |

Ok, here we go! Actually this time I dropped a book on the app, then after 3-4 second I dropped an other one. Then this came:

That error typically happens when you have multiple processes trying to access the calibre library folder or the library folder is on a non native disk/filesystem. Make sure its on an NTFS filesystem on a locally attached disk and exclude the library folder from antivirus and filesync programs such as dropbox or onedrive or similar.
