Computer crashed...can I recover my library?

My computer crashed and had to be completely reset, so Calibre has to be downloaded again. Is there any way to recover my library? I had so many books; my heart is broken.

Do you still have the original book files saved on your hard drive?
If yes, you should be able to link it back into Calibre and it will re-read the database and opf files saved with the books.
