Why does this happen?

Occasionally opening or restarting Calibre it's just a blank white window. Using hide main window (system tray) and then showing makes it render. Video driver glitch?

I've see that happen a couple of times in the past after returning from sleep/hibernation state.

Random tip, see if you can change Calibre graphics setting by doing Wiin key + R, then typing ms-settings:display-advancedgraphics , then click calibre to see if there are options like in screencap below:

And I think Win key + R then typing dxdiag might help see other video stuff:
