Economist download fails
For the past few days attempts to download the Economist fail with the message

ValueError: Server is not reachable, try again after some time.

I am using Calibre 7.22

Any ideas?

On Wednesday it worked on last week's issue, but today it failed on the new issue. Your workload seems never to end!

Thanks for the encouragement. The first three times I tried it failed, with the error that the server was not reachable. But the fourth time it worked. I don't think I did anything different, but it worked this time.

I'm getting the same error message today. It's interesting I tried running the download from "Fetch News" seven times with all failing but when I clicked "Retry" on the error message after the seventh failure, it worked!

And it's good to know I'm not the only one with the problem.

Calibre 7.23 by the way.

I tried twice in a row and it worked without errors.

use the built in recipe only.. and also maybe the built-in recipe hasnt been updated to the latest code although calibre tries to update.

And yes; this is using the default built-in recipe.

There had been other runs earlier in the day that had failed, but unfortunately I restarted calibre and don't have the earlier logs.

shifted to web edition for now.. but i think graphql one is better cause everything is fetched in one go and also it doesnt remove some articles based on location.

A quick check of the current (Christmas) edition suggests that the "web edition", apart from being a different order, is missing one article (How retired aircraft find a second act) that the previous version (graphql?), when it worked, downloaded and which I can see when I log in to The Economist website.
