Showing multiple authors and translators?

Hi, can you please let me ask you something?
In the book information section, if the book has multiple authors or you want to include both the author and translator information, how do you present it?
1. Author 1, Author 2, Author 3, Translator 1...
2. Author 1 & Author 2 & Author 3 & Translator 1...
Or is there a standard format?
Thanks for reading. Sorry if I asked the question in the wrong section.

Author1 & Author2 & Translator (tr)

The & is calibre's standard separator for multiple authors. The portion in the (...) is not used by author_sort so I use (ed), (tr), (il) (editor, translator, illustrator) to indicate those roles.

You can have a ridiculous (my take ) amount of Authors in the Authors Column. I avoid more than 3 because that can cause issues if you transfer using Authors as part of the file name.
In those cases I have a custom (Authors like) column.
It original plan waaaay back was for True Author (not necessarily their Legal name) names when the cover had a Pen name.

But then I ran into collections

So Now I chose to set {Authors} to the editors name(s) or the big name if no listed editor and the rest in #pseudo4
eg.
Jack L. Chalker (ed) << The paren does not mess up the sort
You can set up a grouped search so Calibre checks both places.

others
J Maclaren-Ross (trans)
Scott Fisher (illus)
Arthur C. Clark (creator)

Note: in some cases the Author might also be the translator or illustrator, thus havin more than 1 entry

Thank you very much ^^ Since my library is quite messy with many different types of author list presentations, I will unify it.

Quality check Plugin is your friend.

It can find (wrong) variations and includes a tool to correct those.
And so much more to help identify and standardize your data.

By wrong:
Ln, Fn (or flip)
Initials with or without spaces or periods (you configure the preference)

Bulk MDE can be used to normalize Case on various fields

If like me, you tend to stuff all the authors into the Authors/Author_sort, I use the following template for Send to Device:

eBooks/{author_sort:sublist(0,1,&)}/{title} - {authors:sublist(0,1,&)}

eBooks is a directory in the root of my Kobo devices under which I have directories based on the first entry in the author_sort and then files in that directory named with the title - first entry in the author list.

The sublist(0,1,&) truncates to the first entry in the list to keep the filenames shorter and less likely to trigger path length errors.

So a book such as Death's End by Cixin Liu, translated by Ken Liu would end up on my ereader as:
eBook/Liu, Cixin/Death's End - Cixin Liu
