Install on Windows Server 2022

Hi All,
I am having issues getting Calibre to run on Windows Server 2022 (on top of VMWare ESXi). I know that the answer is probably "Calibre is not supported on Windows Server", but was wondering if anyone has it running and how they achieved it.

I had a successful install running about 6 months ago on the same VM (I guess prior to some Windows updates?). But have not started it up in a while and now Calibre won't run. When I try to start it, nothing happens. Output from calibre-debug -g:

calibre 7.26 embedded-python: True
Windows-10-10.0.20348-SP0 Windows ('64bit', 'WindowsPE')
('Windows', '10', '10.0.20348')
Python 3.11.5
Windows: ('10', '10.0.20348', 'SP0', 'Multiprocessor Free')
Interface language: None
EXE path: C:\Program Files\Calibre2\calibre-debug.exe

I have tried all the usual stuff: reboot, re-install, delete calibre folders, etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I could have played with it for years without looking at the display drivers, but here we are.

Thanks very much for you and everyone who contributed to the original post. You have saved me many hours of fruitless troubleshooting
