Maybe someone broke something? I see a massive gratuitous change just now to my Kindle Wish List thing. The notes are now in a tiny font and the layout looks designed for a phone.
A web browser reports window size. What idiots can't do "responsive" design?

Tried several browsers and with script blocking off.

It's not just you. I've had the same problem. Like you, I tried several browsers (and also two PCs).

In my case, the first attempt in any browser was met with a requirement to log in again.

It's not the first time that D&T has broken - as you'll recall, it broke a few weeks ago. It's frustrating, but I'll guess that it'll be fixed by tomorrow. Meanwhile, it's not as if I'm desperately short of reading material. I only bought this morning's book because it's one that I want to read at some point and it was on special offer.

Yes, it's really broken.

When you got o download via a Kindle (eInk), you cannot see any eBooks since the last time you synced. So any new eBooks cannot be downloaded.

It works no problem on Amazon US.

Existing books already downloaded, don't download.

Indeed on first attempt there was an additional login panel. The previous time I was unaffected.


Annoying that ALSO in ALL the lists the "notes" have changed to tiny grey text in the body and "Price Drop" text is harder to see. Idiotic.

I put in for a refund on the just purchased ebook citing "Download Issues" or similar. I will not buy more till I see it working on existing titles.

The Nothing has spread. I had a little credit on my USA account so bought a 44c ebook. Previously today I could download existing books there,

Do you mean newly purchased books are not showing up on your Kindle at all or that they show but will not download directly to your Kindle?

I was able to directly download a previously purchased book which I hadn't downloaded to one of my Kindles yet. Seeing the same error as reported above when trying D&T (Amazon US account).

Don't want to buy even for free until I hear these issues are resolved.

I can see the new ones I got today on my Scribe home page. The ones I 'send to device' from the web page haven't appeared. I can download them from the Scribe itself, but it's slow and sometimes quits without downloading. Take twice sometimes.

On the web site, "Download & Transfer via USB" isn't working. Not for older books, or the ones I got today.

Says that the download is successful, then I get the same error message posted above.

Broken for me in the US when trying to download a formerly downloaded book via "my kindle content" web page. I'm going to hold off on new purchases for now.
