Image foot problem

Hello everyone
There is some way to ensure that in a book the image is always linked to its image foot, that is, the image in the EPUB never appears on one page and its image foot in another. I have tried Figure and Figcaption but it doesn't guarantee this.
Thank you

On epub3 <figure> plus <figcaption> should sure the joined. You must be doing something wrong; read the following posts:

If the epub3 ereader honors properly the property "calc" here employed, then the caption always will be joined to the image, no matter the font size because when bigger is the caption, smaller will be the image, so image and caption will be showed in a same page.

Alternatives: you can write the text on the image or to employ svg text if you include your image inside a svg wrapper.

EDIT: This is not a Sigil issue but an epub one.

Last year I made a big EPUB 3 e-book with around 200 images, most of which where formatted using <figure> and <figcaption>.

Initially I thought this would result in the caption always appearing directly below the image and not (either partly or entirely) on the following page.

Sadly, it didn't work. Tested using three different EPUB reader apps, specifically Apple Books on iPad and iPhone, and Lithium and Google Play Books on Android.

It didn't work because you made the things bad. By chance, did you read what I posted? By the way, Google Play Books doesn't honor epub3 format, forget to test your epub there. You must test your epub3 on Cantook, Lithium, Kobo for Android (or for iOS), Reasily, PocketBook, Bluefire, Infinity Reader.

Post here a chapter of your epub with the problematic images and I will post the proper code for your case.
