Database Malformed
So I got this yet again.

If I can get my PC to recognize the Clara BW, I will copy all the books to a folder to restore them later.

I did manage to back up the database, but I have a question.

If I restore all the books and then the database, will my books be back in the order they were before? I mean by the date that I loaded them? Or will they be in some random order?

EDIT: I swear this Clara BW is going to drive me to drink.

I rebooted the Clara & my PC and now the database is OK again. Sheesh.

I AM using the 3.7.0 KoboTouchExtended as the 3.7.2 gave me grief - could that be the source of my troubles?

Anyway, I did copy all the books to my PC.

No. I also use 3.7.0 and have had no database issues with either of my Kobos. What firmware version is your Clara on?

I suspect the OP is on 4.41.23145. There have been several complaints about database corruption with that firmware revision for the Libra Colour, Clara Colour and Clara BW devices.

For what it may be worth, I have reported this issue to Kobo.

I have not personally seen the issue on my KLC but that since it seems to be erratic, that may just be luck of the draw.

DNSB is correct, I am on 4.41.23145.

So, to be clear, I had an issue with KoboTouchExtended & the Clara firmware?

The KoboTouchExtended issue was a week ago and unrelated to this problem.

Sheesh. I need a drink.
