Store ebooks on tablet using calibre sync

Is there any way I can store my ebooks on my tablet using calibre sync? Storing in a cloud or such is not possible since most of the time I don't have internet access.

Most of the time I'll just use Calibre Sync to connect to the calibre-server instance running om my PC and then pre-download any content I might want.
