Broken pipe issue when trying to add books via folder

calibre, version 7.21.0
ERROR: Cannot add books: Failed to add any books, click "Show details" for more information.

Worker process crashed while sending job

how to reproduce: go into calibre, go to add books>add books from folder> do not treat as multiple copies of the same book.

This error will pop up and the transfer will fail. this used to work but for some reason stopped this week

You have some program interfering woth calibre most probably an antivirus. Reboot in safe mode and it will work.
