Can't get keybindings to work

I am using custom or alternate firmware on a brnv700 nook glowlight plus (I guess it is an android device with custom firmware now):

I have pushed these files to /sdcard/kOreader/settings :

Neither works I got the page turn button numbers from getevent in adb converted hex to decimal. This is really annoying as I want the physical page turn buttons to work

No matter if you get keycodes from adb if they're not forwarded by the system to applications.

So please follow the steps and see if you can get event keys from the TestActivity and if the numbers match or not the ones you got.

Sorry, but I don't have this option :

Check Settings > More tools > Developer options > Enable verbose debug logging

the firmware is running kit kat 4.4.2 and kernel version 3.0.35

You need to be in File Manager for that.

Or you go to Top menu- Hamburger - Help - Report a but - there will be a button to enable verbose logs
