Help hiding a field on Kobo Libre Colour

Hi

I wondered if anyone would be able to help me figure out how to hide the brackets containing published date on the book details page on Kobo.

At the moment it's displaying as for e.g.

Publisher: Pottermore, 2007 (7/3/07)

I would like to delete the bit in bold. Is this possible please?

Thank you.

Sorry should have mentioned that I've added the following code to the metadata plugboard in the publisher field but it's till adding the date in brackets. They have been set up as custom columns.

{#publishername}, {#publicationdate}

Is there any way at all to hide this?

Thank you

You have to edit the plugboard to remove the date. You added the date, you can remove the date.

Thank you. My issue is that the date is displaying twice. I would like to keep the yyyy format as I have quite a lot of books that are 18th and 19th century. I would like to remove the date in brackets. Thank you
