Icons for some built-in fields not showing in Sort by

Hi,

Recently I noticed that the following icons don't appear when inactive at the Sort by menu. When the library is sorted by one of these, I get the checkmark/ok icon, but if they're not the currently chosen sort column, I find the blank spaces somewhat displeasing:

Date
Id
Modified
Published
Size
Title

For date columns, I find the scheduler.png icon a suitable override, though I can't figure if it's possible to place custom icons for them in resources/images.

Also, while trying to set a custom icon for some date columns, I just noticed that the embed metadata tool uses an icon named modified.png.

It's also used in Manage categories and elsewhere to indicate something was changed - e.g. a Note or Link for an Author.

It used to be this:



I created an orange version of that which works in Light or Dark.

As to the other issue - AFAIK there's no place to associate an icon with a column that can't appear in the Tag Browser - e.g. dates, numbers, text, composites. In the column definition would appear to be the logical place.

yeah, for dark mode there's this neat one from Light Sensitivity Theme:

Nowadays the builtin icon theme has different images for light and dark modified. And no there is no way to specify icons for builtin columns that dont already have icons in their definition.
