Trouble in Paradise
Dear friends:
Using Calibre for many years now. Great application! All was fine until version 7.16.0 (my system = Windows 10 64bit). I tried to install the new versions: 7.17.0; 7.18.0; 7.19.0; and today 7.20.0. All of these ones presented the same trouble: when i click over a epub file, the calibre program opens with no problem. But when I click twice over the epub ebook to open it, the E-Book Viwer window opens but the ebook never opens. Only the "sign of processing" keeps spinning forever. I've tried all of the suggestions presented in other posts/similar topics, with no success. I thank you in advance for your kind help. Best regards, Zique. |

Welcome to the crowd of us with old graphics systems (no updates available).
QT moved on (and is no longer compatible with some cards). FWIW Sigil also has this issue with the Preview. 7.16 was the last version that the Viewer ran on that system. |
