Translator in Kindle app vs Kindle paperwhite
Hi everyone, I am a Greek reader and use both the Kindle app and a Kindle paperwhite. I just noticed that greek have become avaliable in translator of the Kindle app. However they do not appear in the translator on my paperwhite. Any ideas?

I don't know if that will be helpful, but I checked on my recently updated Kindles and indeed Greek is missing from the list of available translations even on the latest firmware. You said it was recently added to the Kindle app? If so, perhaps it will be added in the next Kindle software update.
One weird thing however is that Greek seems to be the only language missing from the list, so it doesn't seem to be due to an encoding issue (e.g. many of the supported languages use a non-roman alphabet); if Greek is still missing in the next Kindle update I wouldn't rule out a bug. |
