Is there a way to run a Linux terminal on the Scribe to use a text browser like W3M?

I think W3M would be perfect on the Scribe. I run it on an old x86 tablet with 1gb of ram to read the news (MX Linux).
https://w3m.sourceforge.net/

Is there anything like Termux for the Kindle? My Scribe is on 5.16.2.

Try kterm or KOReader (it has Terminal emulator plugin). But I don’t know what other dependencies does your browser require.

Thanks I'll try both soon.

w3m's dependencies are:

gc
gpm
ncurses
openssl
imlib2 (optional) - for graphics support
git (make)
imlib2 (make)

Found on this page: https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/w3m/
