Kemp, P. K.: Key to Victory, v1, 12 Jan 2009

This book traces the British Navy during World War II. As it is authorized by the Admiralty, this work tends to be neutral as to politics and perhaps biased toward the Navy. However, the British Navy, except in the case of spectacular events such as the sinking of the Bismarck tends to be overlooked, since it is often more in the background of other events on land. (Contrast this with the central role of the Navy in the Pacific during World War II.)

I can not trace the birth or death (he may still be alive) dates of the author. However, this work, written in 1957, did not have its copyright renewed in the US, so it is out of copyright in the US.

Illustrations have been omitted as it is hard to trace copyright on pictures. Maps, however, may be added into the second version.
