Difficulty in reading the vocabulary entries.
Hi everyone. I've been a Kobo Clara 2E owner since yesterday. I have had a long-term experience of use of a Kindle Paperwhite so that I'm not used to kobo peculiarities yet. I feel quite uncomfortable with the usage of dictionaries: lower case letters are very tiny and little. Fonts with Paperwhite are bigger in the little window and seizable; while with Kobo doesn't work so well.
Reading dictionaries like any other epub does not seem possibile, so.... Is there anything I can do? |

Have you tried enabling large print mode in the settings? It lets you adjust the size of the UI text, and it may apply to the dictionary popup, too.

Settings => Beta Features => Large Print Mode. Once you check the On box, you will see a slider to allow you to adjust the amount of magnification.

Wooow, it works great!!!!! Thank you both
![]() As a matter of interest, why does the menu say that the function is not supported officially by Kobo? Who does it? |

I believe it's just a legal clause; if you encounter issues with it (ie rendering / positioning on screen etc) then Kobo has no responsibility to fix it.

Yes, the more magnification you add, the more likely it is that you'll break the UI, and by calling it a beta feature, Kobo is disowning any responsibility for those problems. The same is true of the web browser: the performance is terrible, so it's called a beta feature to indicate that Kobo has no plans to improve it; it's offered "as is" only.
