Sending to device without changing metadata
Hello,
I would like to send ebooks to my device via Calibre without touching/changing the metadata of the ebook at all. Since I am setting the metadata of my epubs in the OPF file manually, I do not want Calibre to overwrite the data. Neither do I want my custom metadata to be added to the OPF file in the epub. I have found and succesfully changed settings that ensure this behavior for the editor, viewer and when saving to disk. But a setting for when sending to a device does not seem to exist for this. Can anyone help me out? Thanks! |

Turn off the metadata writing plugins in Preferences->Plugins for the formats of interest.
