Calibre Editor: how to clear search history

Hello,

How can I clear a particular (e.g. mistyped) entry, or indeed everything, in the Search history in the Calibre Editor ?
- clear search in the main program doesn't work
- right now I'm editing the "edit-book-history" file in the Calibre profile folder for that, but there has to be a more user-friendly way....
