Suggestions wanted - Virtual/artificial reality
I'd love any suggestions for sci-fi novels around the concept of a discovered/trapped/explored artificial reality, something akin to the Matrix, Existenz, Dark city etc.

Something with a "veil lifted" sense of wonder about it.
