Add custom extensions to internal viewer

Hello,

i save files in the MAFF (Mozilla Archive Format) and add them to calibre. These are simple "ZIP"-files and if i rename them, then i can open the files with the internal viewer.
It would be nice, if a user can add formats to the internal viewer.

Cool, I use MAFF files all the time, with the classic add-on Shelve.

If you want to add support fora format to a viewer you can do it by writing an input format plugin for that format.
