What Identifyer is "wd"?
I have a few identifiers and a column for them, but I have no idea what they are for, and where they came from. I only have 27 books out of 5000 entries with it, but I would like to know what it is. Starts with a "Q" and has numbers
Here is a list from Patricia Briggs "Siverborn" (oh and ignore the imojis) amazon:B0030AOBS4 asin:B0030AOBS4 audible_asin:B003C1UL94 barnesnoble:w/silver-borne-patricia-briggs/1100259597 dewey:813/.6 digitalorderitemid:D01-6705393-6483456 ff:b/patricia-briggs/silver-borne fictiondb:patricia-briggs~silver-borne~262442 goodreads:7940531 gr_isbn:1101186119 gr_isbn13:9781101186114 grrating:4.38 grvotes:103811 isbn13:9781101186114 isfdb:482813 isfdb-title:2866880 kobo:silver-borne-1 lc_class:PS3602.R53165S56 2010 lt_isbn:1101186119 lt_isbn13:9781101186114 ltid:239683863 mobi-asin:B0030AOBS4 my_lt_isbn:1101186119 oclc:ocm42824951 wd:Q27453434 workid:8096286 Last edited by theducks; 10-23-2023 at 09:44 PM. Have considered that you have too many IDs? Especially where multiple IDs with the same value exist such as your amazon, asin & mobi-asin triplet or your ISBN10/13 quintet.
That aside, I would suspect that your Q27453434 id comes from Wikidata. A quick check might be to see if you have the WikiData metadata plugin installed and if you own Hunting Ground by Patricia Briggs, it shows wd:Q27614675 as an ID. BTW, it took about 1 minute to find that information. |

Click on it in book details. If there's a link associated with it (either custom or via plugin) it'll open the browser.

I don't know why I didn't try and click on the link in details. If I am having trouble figuring out why a specific book in Library Thing isn't matching up with what I have in my library then I can see the identifiers used to get it right. Also, in order to IMPORT into these and other online libraries you need to have the ISBNs I even have one for the different Amazon id's so I can import the reading session and whispersync and audible data from their website. I'm a data hoarder, most of this stuff is just so I can import the catalogs. Plus it's helpful in identifying books across libraries if they are all the same. |
