Question Basic questions about this book's formatting
I just got the new Naomi Klein book Doppelganger, and it's displaying like this on my Hisense A9:



Here you can see two things: a kind of chapter indicator in the top right, and footnotes on the very right-hand side of the line/page just below the halfway point of the page.

First, what's with the chapter indicator? What does it do?

Second: I can't click the footnotes when they're at the end of the line because they're too small and just register as page turns. How can I get them to go back to their place in the line, OR increase the size of the footnotes link hotspot?

Those are not footnotes but physical page numbers.

That seems odd when this is a brand new book that has info in the front about it being an e-book and links to email the publishers etc...? Can I hide them?

EDIT: As the other commentor said I was able to turn off reference page numbers.
