PDF output, possible to avoid adding links?

Is it possible to not add links to the PDF output as an option?

I have a large azw3 file that reaches 91% of the conversion in less than an hour but then stays there for the next 13 hours... The last detailed job info says that several fonts were consolidated, the job info description says that it added links to the PDF. I'm not sure if there are any other stages in the conversion to PDF after this. Even if the only links in the document are to the chapters, I suspect it may having problems adding these links. In the PDF output I did not see an option to remove adding links to the document, is it possible to not add links to the PDF as an option? I wanted to test if I remove adding links, the file will finish. Right now I have to use this laptop for work so I cannot let it run only with Calibre (it takes 93% of the CPU and lots of the memory).

No, and I doubt adding links is the slowdown. Make sure you are using up-to-date calibre as there was a performance regression in the PDF library calibre uses a few releases ago.

Thanks for the feedback, I was using 6.23. I see the regression was correct in version 6.22. I will just try to let run longer then. Thanks!
