is there a way to find out how many books are on my ereader
My question is exactly this: how can I find out how many books there are on my Kobo Sage? Can't find it in the My Books section.

Besides the way suggested by hatuluang, there is one other way: Go to Settings / Manage Downlads. There you find a similar information.

Mount Kobo. Make sure hidden files/folder/directories are shown
Edit a copy of .kobo/Kobo/Kobo ereader.conf (Save original on yoou computer as ereader.conf.txt) You need to use and editor that does UNIX line endings if using windows, such as Notepad++ Don't use a wordprocessor. Don't sign out. When you eject Home is replaced by My Books. Discover is replaced by Activity. Sync for other Kobos or Kobo apps is disabled, but Firmware and dictionary syncs still work. Add under [ApplicationPreferences] Make sure it's not there already set to false! FW updates are OK, but a Factory reset and maybe signout might set it to false. A Sign-in doesn't remove it but sets it to false. |
