Hello!
Hello! I am the owner of 3 legacy e-readers, 2 Kindle Keyboards and a DX.
I love my Keyboard and absolutely do not want to upgrade even though a backlight *would* be nice. The DX has been ignored for the past 7 years or so but I just put a new battery in it and it's as good as new. |

Hello and welcome to MobileRead!
I'm curious, why wouldn't you want to upgrade? The modern ereaders are faster, lighter, with better screens; overall, the reading experience is much better IMO. (I still have a couple of my old ereaders and I take them out to compare sometimes; no way would I want to go back to them). |

While the DX is a chonky one, the Keyboard is pretty light. I have arthritis in my hands and small and light keeps them happy. It's also very portable - I can slip it in my purse. I also want physical page buttons. Not a lot of readers these days have those. The ones that do aren't as small as I'd like. I'm not saying I couldn't be swayed, especially if someone offered me a magical unicorn 6", physical page button WITH a backlight e-reader! But for now I'm happy with what I've got and not looking to upgrade. |

BTW, I'm with you re the buttons. I'd never buy an ereader without them. |
