"Unable to import annotations as the annotations column has not been configured..."

The title sums it up, really.

A while ago annotations (nearly all just bits of highlighting) were transferring from my device into Calibre without any trouble. But now all the annotations have disappeared from Calibre, and I get this error message if I try to import them from the device. I've checked the configuration, as far as I'm able to. But I can't see any obvious issue. Column type is "Long text, like comments, not shown in the tab browser", and under "Interpret this column as" I switched it from "HTML" to "Plain Text", and then restarted Calibre. But that didn't make any difference. Any ideas out there? |

Perhaps you could post some images of your column setup? For me, it was pretty simple. I added a custom column named Annotations and made it visible in both my calibre libraries. I then installed the Annotation plugin and customized it to send annotations to the Annotations column. I just tested it by adding annotations to 3 books (I use them for correcting errors so remove them after the corrections) and they imported happily.
