Hoolpa on Leaf 2 Not Remembering Page Last Read

The title says it all. I have a Leaf 2 which I purchased mostly to use with Hoolpa . The Hoopla app works fine on my Android tablet but not on the Leaf 2.

I have three issues:

The main one is that Hoopla does not remember my position in the book I am reading. When I click Resume on a book it opens the book at the first page of the chapter I happened to be in, not the page I was on. Can this be fixed?

Other, less important issues are that it does not sync books across my two Hoolpa apps, and the page display is cut off a bit on the right side.

Right now I would be happy if I could solve the issue of Hoopla not remembering the page where I stopped reading.
