lost custom columns after database restor

Hello,
after having several issues with my database, I decided to start a database restore. everything went well, but I lost all custom columns I had...
when I check the opf file content, it seems it's ok.
Is there a way to restore a database with the custom columns ?
Or a solution to recreate those columns and get the values for each book ?

How did you do the Restore?
If you used Add Books, I hope you had a backup of the Library because the old OPF files are now 'new' and missing all the other data

Restore Database Uses the OPF file IN the Library as well as
metadata_db_prefs_backup.json to restore the structure of the DB

I did a "normal" restore, but maybe the json file was corrupted.
I start a new database restoration with an old version of the json file... let's see
