Hi everyone!
I have a Kobo Libra 2 update to the latest firmware. I added every book without any issues with the latest Calibre release! My only issue is: I have every book in categorized with the correct Series, but when I add them in my Kobo I don't know how to automaticcaly put them int a "series" or "collection" folder. Can someone tell me how I can do that? |

If you update the metadata in Calibre, it should come over to the Kobo the same way.

Are you using the predefined Series and # metadata? And double checking exact Series Name including CaSe? (Honestly not sure about case...but still)
And just for good measure doing a Polish or conversion after updating the Metadata? |

Hi !
I added the books to my Kobo, disconnected it and the connected again but I don't have any collection/series automatically created. Do I have to set up something there? EDIT: After updating the settings it now creates collection automatically! I created a template that use "{authors} - {series}", but I noticed that it create a collection regardless that the book is in a series so I have " Anthony - " as collection name. It's possible to make something like: If {series}=true then "{authors} - {series}" ELSE {Single books} ? Last edited by Ansem_93; 07-07-2023 at 09:41 AM. |

In calibre's preferences under Sending books to device, do you have metadata management set to automatic management. And I wouldn't bother with using Collections to handle series since a Kobo has the tools to display and search series. The only collection I current use is one for finished books.
