External Filename Truncation

I'm running v 6.10 and own a bunch of books with the volume number and year embedded in the title. Suppose the epub title (metadata) is:

The Mega History of the World Part 1 2023

and the author is

Melvin Brooksoniaphile

When Calibre puts it into the directory on the computer, I invariably see a filename that looks like:

The Mega History of the World Par - Melvin Brooksoniaphile.epub

Is there a setting in the program that would output the full title without truncating the tail end?

Output - yes, store in a library - no.
