No main window close button, can't move window

I've just upgraded to 6.17, and when I run Calibre I can't move the main program window; no matter what I try, it just sits there. Also, there's no main window close button at top right. I tried reinstalling; no change. Any suggestions?

If you're using Windows 10, close other apps, then right click empty space in the taskbar and select Cascade windows - then resize the Calibre window.
