7 inch without buttons?
I loved my old Clara HD, and I love my new Clara 2E. However, it would be nice to have something with a 7 inch screen. Every currently available 7 inch ereader that I can find has buttons. I don't want or need buttons. They also make the ereader much larger, which is a big drawback.
Does anyone know of a 7 inch ereader that doesn't have buttons, and is a current model? EDIT: I should add that I don't want a Kindle. Last edited by jgray; 05-05-2023 at 06:37 AM. |

The 6.8″ Android based eink ones mostly don't have buttons.

Not being able to find a 7 inch reader without buttons, I decided to solve the problem by having two ereaders. For travel, I'll take the Clara 2E. For home, I bought a Sage.
I know the Sage has an 8 inch screen, but I figured that for home use, I may as well go large. The Sage is still small enough for easy handling vs a 10 inch screen. One nitpick - I wish that the Sage did not have the extra layer on top. It does make it slightly worse than my old Clara HD. After reading on the Sage for a bit, you no longer notice it. Of course, now that I've purchased a Sage, Kobo will come out with an updated version in a few months ![]() |

I sent my old Clara HD to my sister. If she wants a larger screen, she'll have to either buy one, or wait until I upgrade again

A 6" reader is the perfect allrounder for me, I've had a couple of even smaller devices, great little travel companions. If I want a larger device at home I employ the lifehack of moving it closer to my face. ![]() |
