I recently updated calibre to version 6.4, I did a library check, and it says there are no errors. Then it asks me to check if there are discrepancies between library and database, and I get quite a few errors.

Some errors relate, for instance, to Invalid Title, but the only option given to me here is to delete the book from my library. Why is that the case? How can I "sync" library and database? I am just a bit confused and not fully understanding the implications of these errors. Last edited by issybird; 04-30-2023 at 08:04 AM. Reason: Oversize image changed to URL. It means that you have book files in your Calibre folders that are not in the Calibre database.
First you need to check if "The Flatshare" is in your library. If it is, then go to Beth O'Leary/The Flatshare/ folder and check if you have extra files in that folder and figure out if you can delete them or if you need to keep them. If you want to keep them, but they are extra files that you don't want in your library, then add them to the Data Files folder, by right clicking on the Add Books icon, and selecting Add Data Files If The Flatshare is not in your library, then best to copy that ebook to another folder, and delete the /The Flatshare/ folder, then use the normal Add Book to add The Flatshare into your library. I am assuming the Extra Titles are book files, hard to tell, as you did not expand the view to show what the actual files are, so its just a guess. |
