Best way to 'split' a tag

Currently, I'm splitting one of my tags ('Fiction.Juvenile & Young Adult') into two other tags ('Fiction.Juvenile Fiction' and 'Fiction.Young Adult Fiction').

Is there a quick way to add a new tag and simultaneously remove another tag? I'd prefer to leave other tags unaffected.

My best idea so far is making two Action Chains for this and requires only two clicks (or one, if I use hotkeys).

The easiest for me is to use Manage Tags. Change 'Fiction.Juvenile & Young Adult' to 'Fiction.Juvenile Fiction, Fiction.Young Adult Fiction'. This changes the single tag into 2 tags, then merges them if needed.

I'm using Action Chains to do that exact method! But in fewer clicks than typing it in

Bulk mode S&R allows removal and add at the same time.
Just fill in the blanks

TBH I don't see how this can be faster/fewer clicks/keystrokes than editing the tag in the Tags Category editor (Manage tags). You must first search for/select all books with the tag of interest (say X.Y.Z). Then you use BulkME to remove the original (entering it again) and add the replacements (say A.Y, B.Z).

Manage tags replaces all instances of X.Y.Z with A.Y, B.Z without any search by changing the X.Y.Z box to 2 or more tags. You don't search for anything. You don't type in X.Y.Z as in BME. You type in A.Y,B.Z once. But so be it -- perhaps one method makes more sense to you than the other.

Only in that I see all the expected actions before clicking Apply.
(I don't always trust behind the scenes completion. I have messed up a few times )
