Kobo Plus

I just joined Kobo Plus! And it's been a very long time since I've converted Kobo books in calibre. I've installed Adobe Digital Editions and Kobo for PC. However, the Plus books don't download? And how to you convert?

C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Kobo\Kobo Desktop Edition\kepub

There's no download options on the webpage either. See attachements.

So does anyone know?

The Kobo Plus books are loans not purchases. You are intended to synchronize them to your Kobo ereader or app. Removing DRM and/or keeping them permanently is, IMHO, not acceptable use of the books.

They will download for reading in the Kobo desktop app but they will not show as downloaded though you can read them. Obok will show them but not remove the DRM from copies in your Kobo desktop app library. You can copy them into your calibre library but without DRM removal, it's not really useful.

One item to note is that in your Kobo desktop app downloads, the books show with a GUID as the name and no file extension.

Since this thread appears to be related to importing Kobo Plus books into calibre, it did not strike me as a unnecessary thread.

Piracy is distributing copies, no matter how obtained. Not the same thing as keeping a library or subscription copy for personal use, which is plain theft.
