Question Change file embedded Title/Author metadata
Hi,
I have a few pdf/mobi/epub with correct Title, author... metadata in calibre.
When listing these files on a Kobo libra 2, it doesn't have these metadata updated.

Is there a way that Calibre or a plugin change the filename, and its internal metadata according to the metadata set in Calibre.

The goal is that the files shown on the kobo should have the same metadata as the ones in Calibre.

Is there a way to perform this ?

Preferences > Sending books to devices > Metadata Management: Set to 'automatic'

Make sure the books are matched between your device and library.

it works great.
Do you know if Calibre can do this for all its files stored internally, not just at export time ?

Add the Embed metadata tool to a menu or toolbar. Or give it a shortcut like Ctrl+E

Kobo Utilities (Calibre plug-in) can send the metadata to your Kobo.

This is not what I meant.
It's independent from kobo.

I would like the files stored internally by Calibre to have their internal metadata set by Calibre data.
