Best way to run python code?

I'm a new Kobo dev and Im looking to run some Python on my Kobo (preferably using a terminal).
I was wondering what the best way of doing that would be (if it's even possible)

I've gotten nickel menu working and I've tried installing kobo-stuff (but I don't fully understand how it's supposed to work).

any help would be appreciated!

(sorry if this has been fully answered elsewhere I'm still getting used to navigating the forum, also I am not a super experienced dev so please bear w/ me if I don't understand everything).

Ideally, do that in a tmux session: e.g., to install/update Python 3, run
tmux new -s kobo update-kobostuff Python
Updating all this stuff is near the top of my TODO list (has been for over a year now, though, so tame your expectations ).

One approach you can try is using the kobo-stuff package. To install or update Python, make sure your WiFi is enabled and stable. Then, run the command "update-kobostuff" in a tmux session. For example, to install or update Python 3, use "tmux new -s kobo update-kobostuff Python".

Just keep in mind that updating all this stuff has been on the to-do list for a while, so it might not be fully up to date. Nonetheless, it's worth giving it a shot!
