Hello everyone,
I'm Rik de Graaff, 15 years and come from the Netherlands. Now i read my ebooks on my PSP, but i think that an ebook-reader easyier is. My budget isn't very great, but i have some dollars/euros (i don't care) to spend. To be more precisely I have about 50 euros (that is about $68). What can I buy with this budget? I really know this isn't very much..... ![]() Is there a PDA that I can use for ebooks? And if so, which one? Then I can search on eBay for a used PDA. Many Thanks, Rik de Graaff, Holland |

PDA may have similar problem as PSP when reading on a small, back-lit screen. But, I bought a used Blackberry 8700C for $40 and installed the MobiPocket reader on it. It's good for "stealth" reading or when it's inconvenient to pull out my Kindle. The best experience is going to come from an eBook reader with an eInk screen, but none of those are available for the price you say you can pay.
The eBookwise EB-1150 costs about $100, which is more than your budget, but may be a reasonable alternative for a while. Good luck. |

PSP is probably the best you can do, you certainly wont find anything with a Larger screen untill the Ebookwise, and then thats the cheapest thing untill you get to the 200+ dollar range.
I read on the PSP for a Long time. IF you can find an OLD 3inch+ PDA, im sure that can fit your needs, but the screen on the PSP would be better still. PSP is so much Easier to Turn the Pages than a PDA whos buttons are smaller. (i read with the PSP sideways and used Bookr and set the triggers to turn pages.) |

I think a lot of what was already said is probably correct. That being said, you might want to keep a look out for a used unit. Some of the older ebook readers might be had in your price range; though likely they are not going to work as easily with modern computer hardware.
