Load Error Log?

I load most my books from a directory of files. I just walked away from the computer after resolving all the duplicates on a load. The load did not complete and it was waiting on a bunch of errors regarding not finding files and I had to select skip the files to get it to finish.

When I look at the main book listing I don't see any obvious problems. Usually there would be missing metadata or zero length files, etc. Looks normal.

I even tried redoing the full load and it looks like 100% duplications (i.e. nothing new to load) but it's hard to tell in a case where the file appears in the listing (i.e. looks like a duplicate) but its corrupt in some way.

Is there any log file that lists recent errors so that I can review the file/metadata before I delete the directory I loaded so I can review the problem files?

If you run Calibre in debug mode (there's an option under the 'Preferences' toolbar button) it'll save a debug log to your temporary directory. It should pop up after you quit Calibre but this isn't 100% reliable.

Library > Library maintenance > Check Library may also be useful for this case.
