Question Convert to Word - How to Achieve Fewer Styles?
Hi,

Converting to Word from Epub or Mobi seems to create a style for...every paragraph?

Any way around this?

I tried Converting

Epub > HTMLZ > Word

thinking the HTMLZ might collapse all the styles?

Same result.

What do you think is happening?

Depends on the source document.

You can search and replace styles in LO Writer, probably in Word too depending on version.

Or you can try RTF export.

Umm... the OP was converting from ePub or mobi to Word (docx I suspect) which was generating the style per paragraph being complained about.

- I thought I was the only person who converted epub to docx.

I regularly convert web-scraped transcripts from not very pretty epub to docx so that I can use Toxaris' Dialogue checker - if its really, really bad I just style it all to Normal and then do some basic formatting.
