Restoring your books from Calibre library

Hi Guy, I'm a first time user on this forum and looking for some help.

Is there anyway of Restoring your books from Calibre library after my PC desktop was hit by a rouge email supposedly from a friend, and locked when I tried to do a restore/reset.

Hello and welcome to MobileRead!

Do you have an external backup of your library? On a flash drive or an external hard drive, or on another computer, for example? If the library on the locked PC was the only copy, then I'm afraid it's not possible to restore it, unless you manage to restore the entire PC.
