Open Container folder problems

for over 3 months I have been having problems using the Open Container folder option, It use to send me to the directory that held the converted books.
It has stop working and I dont know why, I understand the problem but dont know how to fix it, and yes I have deleted the program from the PC and clear all links to Calibre V 3.48(64bit) in directory and registry.. I'm real stuck on this problem, is there any one who came across this problem, please help

This is what I get when I try to view the content of the save directory.. ERROR UNHANDLED EXCEPTION box.

Error 1155 no application is associated with this specific file for this operation.
It go on the naming the dir and file name.
