Fixing the Read Aloud toolbar

So far the Calibre E-book viewer is doing what I want in a e-book reader to the point where I'm seriously thinking about saving up for a Microsoft Surface tablet (one of the cheaper ones) and use the Calibre as my go-to for reading books.

The thing it's doing is on the Read Aloud feature it highlights one word being read to me and moving to the next word. But here's the thing, I don't need the text being read to me, I just want the word highlighted so I can follow along with it and I have no problem with muting the voices in order to make it do what I want.

Here's the big flaw I have with it and maybe you guys can either help me fix it or take my comments into consideration. The toolbar to control the voices and speed does not disappear when I start to use it, nor does it blur out when I'm not using it. This is obviously a problem because it's blocking some words that the e-reader viewer is trying to highlight and is making me miss some words as a result. So maybe you guys might know a fix for it or if there isn't a fix, maybe see if you can get it fixed.

Click th econfig button on the bar.
