Collection in Calibre?

I have a number of books Of a certain genre and I want to import them into calibrate and make them a collection. Now I appreciate the word collection has different connotations in different spheres of activity shall we say so what I mean by the collection is effectively in Windows terminology a folder and I am then wondering if I can import that folder stroke collection directly into Kindle or whether they would have to be taken an individually and then put into a formal Kindle collection on the actual Kindle device thoughts welcome thank you.

If your Kindle is not jailbroken, you won‘t be able to sync collections between it and Calibre (or Windows). You'll have to put the books on the Kindle in collections manually.

Thanks.. I think as no idea what jail broken is so it's going to be tedious.

I'd say jailbreak is the process or tool by which a user is able to be granted the right to manage his device, whereas, in non-jailbroken/rooted devices, Big Tech and Governments are the actual managers of user's devices
