calibre freezes when downloading metadata
Hello,
Recently, the software crashes when I press "download metadata" from the "edit metadata" window.

The usual "download metadata" windows doesn't show
Everything freezes and I have to kill the process from the windows task manager.

I am using the last version of calibre on windows 11
I tried debug mode / without plugins, and it does the same.

No idea how this happened, it came all of a sudden...

Have you ever had 2 monitors? The window may be off screen.
Try Alt+<space>, M, Then tap the Left arrow a number of times to see if it starts moving on screen. Try some of the others if your lost monitor was other than right.

BTW those keystroke work on ALL windows

This may be a bit easier, right click on the taskbar and select Cascade Windows, that should put any 'off screen' windows on to the desktop.

@theducks - I stumbled on this trick a couple of weeks ago.

Sadly, cascade windows on Windows 11 is a bit more painful
